OUR STORY

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN.

In December of 2014, I was medically retired by the Army. I had spent the last nine years as a Light Infantryman squad leader with two deployments to Iraq under my belt. Once I was out of the Army, I did not know where to go or what to do. I was having trouble holding down a job and in 2015 I started to have a lot of medical issues.

It was in late 2015 when I went to Dobbs Ferry, NY and completed team training at ECAD’s facility and met Jaeger. Jaeger and I instantly connected. We trained for two weeks and after graduation came back home to Chesterfield, VA. Jaeger was specifically trained to assist me for the first 18 months of his life. He has not disappointed me at all.

Jaeger and I have been attached at the hip (literally!) since Thanksgiving of 2015. I can not imagine my life without Jaeger and having him by my side at all times. He is my security blanket and I take comfort in knowing that he is always alert and ready to step-in and help me whenever I need it.

In honor of my best buddy, I have dedicated my workshop to Jaeger. I take pride in creating one-of-a-kind products like cutting boards and furniture, and with the help of my mom, soaps and bath bombs. I do this because I love it - it’s therapeutic to design and create a product from scratch, and the real reward comes from seeing the satisfaction of a happy customer.
